, said, "Brunal University in West London is a modern forward-looking university, and places great value on its applied research as well as its pure investigative research. It has a well established reputation as a center of excellence in a number of scientific areas including, molecular biology molecular biology, scientific study of the molecular basis of life processes, including cellular respiration, excretion, and reproduction. The term molecular biology was coined in 1938 by Warren Weaver, then director of the natural sciences program at the Rockefeller  of cancer, environmental pollution on aquatic organisms, and, on the engineering side, in the development and exploitation of injection molding and extrusion technology and the development of materials for bioengineering bioengineering

We see our relationship with CTT enabling us to develop further our international links and extend our industrial outreach program."

Dr. Keith Winton, deputy director of industrial liaison for the University of Edinburgh, added, "The University of Edinburgh is one of the top five in the UK with an annual research budget in excess of $75 million, putting it ahead of many important commercial companies. However, we have always been restricted in our ability to bring our new technologies to the world's largest marketplace through lack of pressence in the U.S. Our new link with CTT addresses that problem and we are confidant that we will be able to better realize the potential of much of the state of the art work in which we are presently engaged."

CTT is also developing its program for working with UK research institutes, building upon the relationship initiated last year with the Babraham Institute, Cambridge, UK. Dr. James S. Green

The work at Babraham is generating platform technologies for biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries."

CTT will continue to strengthen its links with European research organizations assisting them to expand the market for their scientific expertise and inventions in North America and the Far East, and creating productive collaboration with industry which will increase the flow of R&D funds into those research institutions and universities.
