Competitive Technologies Licenses Key RFID Enabling Technology to Pinnacle Technology Group.

FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- Competitive Technologies, Inc. (AMEX: CTT) today announced that it has granted Pinnacle Technology Group, Inc. of Toledo, OH, a license to manufacture, use and sell products using patented Event Driven Information System intellectual property. This "Event Driven" intellectual property enables RFID (radio frequency identification) systems to gather and export object location and movement data from the point of data collection, onward to an enterprise computer network. CTT has an exclusive agreement with USM Systems, Ltd. ("USMS") of Troy, MI to commercialize this intellectual property. The patents represented are from the work of Chester T. Przygoda, Founder and President of USMS. The agreement will provide for royalty payments to be paid to CTT.
