There's never been a better time to give children books for Christmas Christmas [Christ's Mass], in the Christian calendar, feast of the nativity of Jesus, celebrated in Roman Catholic and Protestant Churches on Dec. 25. The popularity of JK Rowling's Harry Potter series of adventures has lead to a real boom in children's publishing and reading has become incredibly cool again. Even hip celebrities like Madonna and Ricky Gervais have spotted this trend and have published children's books recently.
