Compete, Inc. Names Adam Guy and T.J. Mahony to New Roles to Meet Increasing Demand by Marketers for Deeper Customer Relationships.


BOSTON -- Compete, Inc. today announced the promotion of T.J. Mahony to Managing Director of Intelligent Reach Products and Adam Guy to Managing Director of the Wireless Practice. With the launch of Voicebox, Compete has named Mr. Mahony the Managing Director of Intelligent Reach Products. Compete's intelligent reach products facilitate a complete marketing cycle for its clients - from segmenting consumers, to targeting, to deepening customer loyalty and measuring results. In his new role, Mr. Mahony will develop behaviorally-targeted products and services to help marketers interact with the right customers and deliver the right messages/offers at the right time. Mr. Mahony was formerly a Strategy Consultant at ZEFER, Inc. and a Practice Analyst at Accenture.

Compete also announced that Adam Guy has been promoted to Managing Director of the Wireless Practice. In this role, Mr. Guy will be responsible for the growth of the practice, overseeing Compete's wireless team and managing relationships with the tier-1 service providers, MVNOs, handset/device manufacturers and online agents. Mr. Guy previously served as Director of the Wireless Practice. Prior to joining Compete, Mr. Guy was a Senior Analyst at the Yankee Group (the Yankee Group, Boston, MA, www.yankeegroup.com) A major market research, analysis and consulting firm founded in 1970 by Howard Anderson. It provides general consulting and strategic planning in the computer and communications field. , Director of Wireless Research at InfoTek Research and a Senior Analyst of Mobile Wireless Research at The Strategis Group.
