Compellent Secures $15 Million in New Financing Led By Centennial Ventures; All-Channel Model and Top-Rated SAN Combine to Position Compellent as the Emerging Leader in Small to Midsize Enterprise Storage Market.

MINNEAPOLIS -- Compellent Technologies, a provider of modular, affordable storage solutions distributed exclusively through a select national network of business partners, today announced that it has secured $15 million in financing led by new investor Centennial Ventures. In total, Compellent has raised more than $38 million since its founding by storage area network (SAN) pioneers Phil Soran, John Guider and Larry Aszmann.

Since its introduction in early 2004, Compellent's Storage Center SAN solution has attracted more than 100 customers, a strong network of business partners and widespread industry acclaim for the product's combination of sophistication so·phis·ti·cate
