Compass Donates $10,000 to Red Cross Relief Fund to Assist Fire Victims; Offers Special Programs for Consumers and Businesses to Aid in Recovery.

Compass Bank today announced it will donate $10,000 to the American Red Cross American Red Cross: see Red Cross.  Disaster Relief Fund in Southern Arizona Southern Arizona is a region of the United States. Compass has also implemented a special disaster recovery program in Tucson. This program offers new and existing Compass Bank customers a number of special loan options to help residents and businesses get access to the funds they need to recover from the disaster as quickly and economically as possible.

 the process required to access capital to rebuild homes and businesses. It also offers deferred payments on certain existing obligations to give individuals some time to rebuild their lives and businesses."

In addition to the corporate contribution, Compass employees have given personal funds to purchase needed items for the firefighters battling the fires, and Compass' employee volunteer group, TeamCompass, has collected and donated hundreds of items to assist those battling the fires.

Individuals or groups interested in making additional donations to the Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund can do so at any of Compass Bank's 19 Tucson locations via check or money order made payable to the American Red Cross Southern Arizona Chapter. Contributions will be accepted through July 31 and forwarded to the Red Cross.
