Compass Airlines Celebrates a One-Year Milestone, Expands Service.

) celebrates the achievement of an operational milestone--one year of service. Compass has served nearly half a million passengers in this first year of service with 17 state-of-the-art EMB-176 regional jet aircraft. In addition, Compass was recently awarded approval from the U.S. Department of Transportation to operate daily round trip flights from Detroit to Monterey, Mexico, effective May 2, 2008.

 daily and serves 26 cities as an Airlink partner. Compass will operate a total of 36 EMB-175 aircraft and is projected to serve over two million customers by the end of 2008. The EMB-175 accommodates 76 passengers in a dual class configuration, with 12 seats in first class and 64 seats in coach class.

In 2007, Compass Airlines achieved a number of milestones including the FAA initial certification to begin operations, the approval for the first domestic and international flights with EMB-175 aircraft and a announcement of a new maintenance facility in Louisville, Kentucky
