Compass Advisers Expands With Formation of Restructuring Practice.

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 21, 2003

Compass Advisers, an international investment banking partnership, today announced the launch of its restructuring restructuring - The transformation from one representation form to another at the same relative abstraction level, while preserving the subject system's external behaviour (functionality and semantics).  practice.

The launch of the restructuring practice represents Compass' second recent expansion of its partnership. During 2002, Compass Advisers announced the appointment of Allan M. Chapin as its sixth partner. Prior to joining Compass, Mr. Chapin was a Managing Director at Lazard Freres & Co. and previously was a senior partner of Sullivan & Cromwell, an international law firm. Mr. Chapin is a director of Interbrew, Scor and Pinault Printemps Redoute.
