Compaq allies with Comdisco to offer Disaster Recovery Services.


ROSEMONT, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 13, 1995--LAN administrators won't lose as much sleep over their Compaq networks' vulnerability to disruption, now that Compaq Computer Corporation (company) Compaq Computer Corporation - The largest US manufacturer and vendor of IBM PC compatible personal computers and servers. , a leading manufacturer of hardware for client/server environments, has named Comdisco Disaster Recovery Services to provide business continuity services to its customers. Comdisco and Compaq have created and packaged a number of client/server disaster recovery services that will be marketed to Compaq's client/server customer base.

The new offering represents the first in a collaborative effort by the companies to provide customers with more value-added services and support.
