Compaq Web Advisory: Compaq Slashes Armada Notebook PC Prices Up to 14 Percent.

) today announced widespread price reductions of up to 14 percent on several Armada notebook PC models in the 1700, 7400 and 7800 Series.

Aggressively priced with models starting at $1,999(1), the Armada 1750 Series now features a model with a Mobile Pentium II processor at 300MHz (MegaHertZ) One million cycles per second. It is used to measure the transmission speed of electronic devices, including channels, buses and the computer's internal clock. A one-megahertz clock (1 MHz) means some number of bits (16, 32, 64, etc. , a 13.3-inch color TFT (Thin Film Transistor) The term typically refers to active matrix screens on laptop computers.
