Compaq Web Advisory: Compaq Armada 1500c Family Continues to Grow.

Fueling the popularity of its aggressively-priced Armada 1500c commercial notebook PC family, Compaq Computer Corporation (company) Compaq Computer Corporation - The largest US manufacturer and vendor of IBM PC compatible personal computers and servers. Compaq was started in 1982 by three ex-Texas Instruments employees.

) today added a new model featuring a 12.1-inch color STN (SuperTwisted Nematic) A passive matrix LCD technology that provides better contrast than twisted nematic (TN) by twisting the molecules from 180 to 270 degrees. The new model of the Armada 1500c Series is based on the Intel(R) Mobile Celeron(TM) processor at 366MHz with 128K internal cache, and includes a 4-Gigabyte(a) (GB) SMART hard drive, 32-megabytes (MB) of memory (expandable to 160MB), a 12.1-inch STN display, a 24X CD-ROM CD-ROM: see compact disc.
