Compaq Unveils Enterprise Strategy at DECUS User Conference Today.

In his keynote presentation on Thursday, October 8, 1998, Tom Iannotti, Compaq's Vice President WW Marketing and Sales Customer Services will show how Compaq is leveraging the Services capabilities of Compaq, Tandem, and Digital to deliver superior solutions and services to customers directly and through partners. Tom will explain the Compaq Services agenda and describe the steps Compaq Services is taking to assure that customer satisfaction and service quality remain our most important priority. At the end of his remarks, Tom will answer questions from the audience.

As part of its participation, Compaq will feature a hands-on engineering technology center where users can delve into Compaq's products. Compaq will display its entire enterprise product line, with demonstrations from more than 16 product groups, including Tandem's Himalaya products, Compaq's enterprise servers, Compaq ASE (Adaptive Server Enterprise) A relational DBMS from Sybase that runs on Windows NT/2000, Linux and a variety of Unix platforms. This year DECUS will also Webcast two sessions and present daily show highlights. Tuesday's keynote by John T. William Beckett of GrayMatter Software Corporation will also present his session, "Production Computing Using Windows NT," via webcast at 1:00 p.m. PST on Wednesday.
