Compaq Selects Sair, Inc. to Provide Linux Training, Certification To Compaq's Key Personnel Worldwide.

Compaq Computer Corporation (www.compaq.com) has partnered with Sair, Inc. (www.linuxcertification.com), the nation's leader in Linux training material and certification examinations, to become a Sair Internal Training Organization (ITO). Compaq will train its key personnel worldwide with Sair Linux and GNU Certification (SLGC) materials.

Compaq's Accredited Systems Engineer (ASE) program requires a Linux certification upon entrance into the Compaq ASE Linux certification track. The Sair Linux certification is now recognized as a component of the Compaq ASE Linux certification. Initially, SLGC training will take place internally at Compaq with assistance from Sair, Inc. In some cases, Compaq may send key employees to SLGC training at one of the Sair Accredited Centers for Education around the country. Toward that end, Compaq will make SLGC materials available to all Compaq Worldwide employees and dealers.
