SSH Communications Security, Inc. (SSH), the world-leading developer of Internet security and advanced cryptography solutions, today announced an agreement through which Compaq Computer Corporation will incorporate SSH IPSEC Express(tm) Toolkit into its enterprise-leading server operating systems --- Tru64 UNIX and OpenVMS.

These operating systems provide comprehensive out-of-the-box management that enhances productivity and efficiency for customers' administrative tasks, from installing software to monitoring events to configuring the system for optimum performance. Integration of SSH's IPsec technologies will enable Compaq to provide its customers with an effective and cost-efficient security solution which incorporates strong cryptographic security features and fast, easy configuration.

IPsec is an IETF (Internet Engineering Task Force) standard for protecting IP traffic using cryptography on the packet level.
