Compaq has achieved the highest ever Microsoft Messaging Application Program Interface (MAPI) Messaging Benchmark (MMB) on a four-processor server: 26,000 MMB using four 550-MHz Intel Pentium III/2-MB Xeon processors. This MAPI benchmark was achieved on a fully standard platform, using an off-the-shelf server system and an unmodified version of Microsoft Exchange Server.

MMB measures throughput in terms of a specific profile of user actions, executed over an 8-hour day.
