In a unanimous vote of its Board of Directors, ITUG--a Compaq Users Group, has decided to vote the organization's shares in both Compaq Computer Corporation and Hewlett-Packard Company in favor of the merger of these two computing giants.

ITUG, a Compaq Users Group, is an international enterprise computing community of corporations utilizing and supporting Compaq NonStop(TM) Himalaya servers and software, whose mission is to serve as the conduit for advocacy, information sharing and education among Compaq and the global NonStop business community.
