The iPAQ Pocket PC H3800 will begin shipping in October with availability in November, according to Compaq.

This development further validates the importance of Java technology as an integral programming language and runtime environment for smart handheld devices. It also, along with several related recent announcements, strongly positions Insignia as a leading Java virtual machine A Java interpreter.
