Company leases 42,000 s/f office/lab space.

CBLPath, Inc., one of the nation's fastest-growing providers of specialized anatomic pathology services, has leased 42,000 s/f of office and laboratory space at 760 Westchester Avenue in Rye Brook, New York.

The company is consolidating its separate northeast region laboratory and operations facilities, both currently in Mamaroneck, New York, according to Marisa Manley, president of Commercial Tenant Real Estate Representation, LTD, which represents commercial tenants exclusively.

Manley represented CBLPath in the transaction. William B. Cuddy, senior vice president of CB Richard Ellis, Inc., represented the landlord, RPW Group. The company expects to be in its new facility by April 2006 when the tenant build- out is complete.

Financial terms of the 10-year lease with five-year option to renew are not being disclosed, but the landlord had been asking $29 per square foot.

"CBLPath needed a space large enough to house its growing operations, and so that it could run more efficiently," says Manley. "This new space gives the company ample room for more than 200 employees, and for its projected future growth."
