Company joins elite of charter mark winners.


A PROVIDER of work- based learning for the hospitality industry and service sector is celebrating after recording a first for Wales Wales, Welsh Cymru, western peninsula and political division (principality) of Great Britain (1991 pop. 2,798,200), 8,016 sq mi (20,761 sq km), west of England; politically united with England since 1536. The capital is Cardiff. .

Welshpool-based Cambrian Training Company is the first business in. Wales to achieve chartered employer membership of the Institute of Assessors and Internal Verifiers.

Only a dozen UK companies have achieved the quality assurance charter mark which is used to indicate that a company is committed to ensuring its staff meet the registration standards.

The company, which employs 34 people,also recently achieved Investors in People status, which recognises an organisation's commitment to quality staff training and development.
