Through USArtists International, the NEA awarded travel grants for appearances at international festivals to: Alonzo King's LINES Ballet, Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Dance Company, Eiko & Koma, Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, Illstyle & Peace Productions, Paul Taylor Dance Foundation, Project Bandaloop, Shen shen (shen) one of the basic substances that according to traditional Chinese medicine pervade the body, usually translated “spirit,” encompassing both the mind of the individual and healthy mental and physical function.
