Reifenhauser has launched a new company brochure titled The Extrusioneers. The brochure summarizes all of the company's international sales efforts and activities. The most recent issue spotlights Reifenhauser's breathable films, monofilaments and strapping tapes and its Reicofil 4 technology. Reicofil 4 features improved physical and optical properties, a reduced diameter of individual filaments and higher uniformity of the nonwoven web. The technology's cooling, stretching and fiber collection process steps can be controlled independently from each other. The Extrusioneers also provides information on the company's new cast film extrusion line, with direct extrusion technology, for the production of breathable film in Eastern Europe. The line has a capacity of 500 kg/h and can produce films from polyethylene or polypropylene or film/nonwoven composites with widths up to 1.60 meters.
