TAP Portugal TAP Portugal (former known as Transportes AĆ©reos Portugueses - Portuguese Air Transportations) is the national airline of Portugal, based in Lisbon and a member of the Star Alliance.  said in a statement yesterday that it is pursuing "potential acquisition [or] shareholder participation" in rival Portugalia Airlines.
