Jul 7, 2006 Boeing confirmed that Las Vegas-based Primaris Airlines Primaris Airlines is an American charter airline based in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. It operates domestic and international services. Its main base is McCarran International Airport, Las Vegas. had canceled its commitment for 20 of Boeing's new 787s. In 2004, Primaris, which aims to provide business class-only service, became the first U.S. carrier to pledge support for Boeing's fuel-efficient 787. The new plane is scheduled to enter service in 2008. But Boeing spokeswoman Yvonne Leach said Primaris never submitted a firm order, and canceled the commitment altogether several weeks ago. Boeing has 360 firm orders for the 787, plus 43 commitments, but most of those are with overseas carriers.
