Program Description You-Turn Project is a mobile independent living skills program designed to prepare our clients for self-sufficiency self-suf·fi·cient adj. 1. The program offers up to six months of instruction related to the areas of Financial Planning Financial planning Evaluating the investing and financing options available to a firm. Planning includes attempting to make optimal decisions, projecting the consequences of these decisions for the firm in the form of a financial plan, and then comparing future performance against , Effective Communication, Time Management, Community Exploration (field trips), Food Preparation, Parenting Education, Substance Abuse Education and Personal Safety and Wellness. Each module can be taken individually or as a group. You-Turn Project also offers mentor Mentor, in Greek mythology Mentor (mĕn`tər, –tôr'), in Greek mythology, friend of Odysseus and tutor of Telemachus. services for up to two years after successful program completion. You-Turn Project Curriculum You-Turn Project instructional modules are based on state's Content Standards for California California (kăl'ĭfôr`nyə), most populous state in the United States, located in the Far West; bordered by Oregon (N), Nevada and, across the Colorado River, Arizona (E), Mexico (S), and the Pacific Ocean (W).
