Under new management, Syntroleum has developed the GTL Barge concept and a new strategy to target discovered, non-producing gas reserves which are not candidates for LNG LNG (liquefied natural gas): see under natural gas.  or world-scale GTL plants. Syntroleum seeks to acquire ownership in or access to such gas for GTL Barges and develop integrated projects to produce and market fuels. The production and sale of desalinated water and power could also be incorporated.
