It melts at −97.  Institute (MI) serves as the voice of the global methanol industry. As a trade association, MI's member companies include the principal producers of methanol, as well as methanol distributors, industry suppliers and consumers. MI is dedicated to supporting the greater use of methanol as a clean energy source for various environmentally beneficial uses. MI promotes the use of methanol as a hydrogen carrier A hydrogen carrier is an organic macromolecule that transports atoms of hydrogen from one place to another inside a cell or from cell to cell for use in various metabolical processes.
