The Diesel Hot Rod hot rod

Automobile rebuilt or modified for high speed, fast acceleration, or sporty appearance. A wide range of automobiles may be called hot rods, including some of those used in drag racing as well as those used in recreational cruising.
 Association (DHRA) was formed to promote and advance automotive sports involving the use of diesel (compression ignition) engines. DHRA is dedicated to providing rules that will adequately manage the risks associated with motorsports and that will provide level playing fields for fair competition.

The DHRA is a diesel motorsports sanctioning body and an NHRA-approved alternate sanctioning organization. The DHRA works with both NHRA NHRA National Hot Rod Association
