Companion Technologies Associate to Present on Electronic Medical Records at National Conference.

COLUMBIA, S.C. -- Dave McCord, an expert with a Companion Technologies healthcare consulting unit, will present a session on "Automatic Updating for the Clinic - Avoiding Problems Before They Start" at the annual TEPR conference next month.

McCord, director of application development with TM Floyd & Company, will focus on instructing medical clinics how to wisely choose a software vendor and product to improve the experience for the clinic, the physician, and the patient through the continuous updating of their software via unattended updates.

He will speak at 3:15 p.m., May 21, at the conference at the Baltimore Convention Center. TEPR (Towards the Electronic Patient Record), hosted by the Medical Records Institute, is the largest event solely concentrating on electronic medical records.
