Companion Technologies Adds Web Interface for Medical Patient Statements.

COLUMBIA, S.C. -- Companion Technologies has launched Statement Manager, a function of Companion EnterprisEDI and Companion PM software, for accessing medical patient statements securely over the Internet.

This gives doctors' offices and hospitals view and print capabilities to an exact copy of documents mailed to patients. It also gives access to other patient correspondence, such as collection letters and recall notifications, and includes reporting capabilities and monitoring of address corrections and forwarding information.

"The new function means medical billing offices will spend less time researching and tracking down paper billing information and can view statements from any location accessible to a Web browser The program that serves as your front end to the Web on the Internet.
