Companies unite for Acorns.


A BUILDING company has teamed up with Sainsbury's in Selly Oak Selly Oak is an area in south Birmingham, England. It is also a council constituency, managed by its own district committee.

Birmingham Selly Oak is a parliamentary constituency; its member of Parliament is Dr Lynne Jones.
 to bring in gifts and donations for Acorns Hospice hospice, program of humane and supportive care for the terminally ill and their families; the term also applies to a professional facility that provides care to dying patients who can no longer be cared for at home. .

Birse Civils, which is carrying out work on the Selly Oak New Road, joined forces with the supermarket and donated money and gifts for the hospice.

It also invited other customers to add to the selection of gifts it was donating to Acorns with a day of fundraising at the store.

Jane Hartnell, spokeswoman for Acorns Hospice said: "We are delighted that Birse are working with Sainsbury's in Selly Oak to support our hospice in B irmingham."
