Companies curb expansion plans due to uncertain economy. (Industry Issues).

Market conditions may deter companies from expanding operations but not from rolling out new products according to a new Robert Half survey.

The survey asked 1,400 CFOs which initiatives they would put on hold in an uncertain economy. Nearly one-third said they're most likely to put corporate expansion plans on hold. Another 23 percent said they would postpone a merger or acquisition, and 18 percent said a technology upgrade would be put on the back burner. However, delaying the launch of a new product or service received just 10 percent of the response.
