Compania Minera Disputada de las Condes. (Panorama: Chile).


ANGLO AMERICAN, a U.K. mining company, completed the purchase of Chile's Compania Minera Disputada de las Condes for US$1.3 billion from U.S. oil giant Exxon Mobil. The acquisition includes the Los Bronces and El Soldado mines and the Chagres smelter.
