Companhia Vale Do Rio Doce (CVRD), a Brazilian iron ore producer, signed a deal to supply 70 million tons of iron ore to Nippon Steel Corporation, a Japanese steel maker, between 2005 and 2014.

CVRD - Cowichan Valley Regional District (Vacouver Island, British Columbia, Canada)), a Brazilian iron ore producer, signed a deal to supply 70 million tons of iron ore to Nippon Steel Corporation, a Japanese steel maker, between 2005 and 2014. Currently, CVRD produces 6 million tons annually of ore for Nippon Steel. The agreement will increase that output to 7 million tons a year, CVBR CVBR - Constrained Variable Bit Rate said.
