(Nasdaq:SWKS), the industry's leading wireless semiconductor company focused on radio frequency (RF) and complete semiconductor system solutions for mobile communications applications, today announced that the company's GSM/GPRS single-chip direct conversion transceiver has been selected by Compal Communications Inc., a leading Taiwan-based Original Device Manufacturer (ODM (Original Design Manufacturer) A contract manufacturer that uses its own designs and intellectual property (IP).
