CompUSA Net.com Inc. Names Ellen Barry as Director of Public Relations.


MARLBOROUGH, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 23, 1999--

Michael B. Laskoff, vice president of marketing for CompUSA Net.com Inc., today announced Ellen Barry has joined the company as director of public relations public relations, activities and policies used to create public interest in a person, idea, product, institution, or business establishment. By its nature, public relations is devoted to serving particular interests by presenting them to the public in the most  in charge of internal and external communications. CompUSA Net.com is the new e-commerce subsidiary of one of the country's largest computer retailers.

While at Fleishman-Hillard, Barry held several positions around the globe, most recently as Partner and Director in the company's London office working with a roster of blue-chip clients in the technology, consumer and business-to-business sectors.
