CompUSA Expands Premium Home Entertainment Offering; Mitsubishi Large Screen HDTV Models Now Available at CompUSA Stores Nationwide.


DALLASDALLAS -- CompUSA(R) continues to expand its premium home entertainment offering in response to consumers' desire for more technology products and services under one roof. Beginning March 26, CompUSA will sell Mitsubishi large-screen HDTV (High Definition TV) A set of digital television (DTV) standards that offer the highest resolution and sharpest picture. Although some HDTV sets are available in standard (rather square) screen sizes, the overwhelming majority of sets are wide screen, which eliminates  models at 213 of its 240 stores throughout the United States United States, officially United States of America, republic (2005 est. pop. 295,734,000), 3,539,227 sq mi (9,166,598 sq km), North America. CompUSA stores with expanded home electronics departments will carry three high-end televisions from Mitsubishi including:

--52" LCD HDTV (WD-52526)

--62" LCD HDTV (WD-62526)

--52" 1080p DLP (Digital Light Processing) A data projection technology from TI that produces clear, readable images on screens in lit rooms. DLP is used in all types of projection devices, from data projectors that weigh only a few pounds to large rear-projection TVs to electronic  HDTV (WD-52627)

The 52" 1080 p DLP HDTV (WD-52627) is one of Mitsubishi's newest models, and has 1920 x 1080p pixel resolution pixel resolution Telemedicine The sharpness of a computerized image, based on pixel concentration, which determines display resolution  and Dark Detailer(TM) light engine technology. Dark Detailer, a proprietary Mitsubishi technology, provides enhanced contrast and dark scene detail, delivering a picture with realistic depth and clarity.
