Community party time in brilliant sunshine.


It was party time in Grangetown as hundreds of people turned out for the area's annual festival.

The week-long series of events, organised by Grangetown Community Concern, culminated with a carnival and fete in brilliant sunshine on Saturday.

Church youth groups and the Brownies were among those who paraded from Virgil Street, before the fete got under way in Grange Gardens.

The festival included an open-air inter-denomination church service.

Sports days are annual events staged by many schools in which children participate in competitive sporting activities, often with the aim of winning trophies or prizes.
 at Leckwith Stadium The Leckwith Stadium is also well known as Cardiff Athletic Stadium and it has athletic facilities and also football facilities. The Cardiff Grange Quins of the Welsh Football League and the Cardiff City F.C. reserve and ladies team use the available facilities.  and a concert.
