THREE GENERATIONS of Loucks family bowlers celebrated this month as DELBERT, 70 (top), rolled his first perfect 300 game at Firs Bowl after more than 45 years in the sport. His son MICHAEL SR., 43 (center), the middle generation of the Eugene family, recorded his first 300 game last March, "in about half the time" it took his dad. And grandson MICHAEL JR., 17 (bottom), has the potential to roll a 300 in half the time his father needed. Mike Loucks, a junior at Willamette High School, is active in the Strike City junior league, has a personal high score of 247 thus far and is getting ready for his school's third season fielding a prep bowling team. Area youths who might want to try the sport can check with Emerald Lanes, Firs Bowl, Strike City or Timber Bowl to see if space remains in any of their Saturday morning youth leagues.
