Community National Bank's Woodbury Branch Grand Opening Celebration Draws Large Crowd.

GREAT NECK, N.Y. -- Community National Bank (CNB) (OTCBB: CBNY), Long Island's fastest growing commercial community bank, celebrated the grand opening of their new Woodbury branch with an estimated crowd of 300 people on September 8th. The new Bank is located at 8191 Jericho Turnpike, in Woodbury.

The ribbon-cutting took place at 10:00am, signifying the official opening of the CNB Woodbury branch with Town of Oyster Bay Supervisor, John Venditto, in attendance. Shortly thereafter, CNB Chairman, President and CEO, Stuart Lubow presented a check for $250 to Ms. Sheri Perlman, Director of Development at the Variety Child Learning Center in Syosset.

The festivities included entertainment, free refreshments, souvenir gifts and a face-painting clown for the kids. The first 200 adults at the Grand Opening were given stainless steel mugs, containing from $1 to $250 cash. Early bird, Debra Gettinger of Woodbury, won the big prize of $250. Robert H. Rosenberg of Syosset, won the second biggest prize of $100. A live broadcast of Long Island radio's KJOY 98.3 with Morning Show host, Jim Douglas, and WMJC 94.3's host, John Daniels, kept everyone entertained.

Many customers took advantage of the special grand opening day rates and opened accounts. Statement savings accounts were opened with a 5.25% APY, guaranteed for 90 days, and home equity lines of credit were available at 5.49% APY for the first six months, then Prime less 1/2% for life. Bonus rates were also being given on 9, 15 and 21 month CDs and free gifts were given for opening any CNB checking account and any interest bearing savings accounts or CDs with deposits of $10,000 or more.

September 8th was also the kick-off of the CNB's month-long Fantastic Fall Sweepstakes, with five third-place prizes of iPod Shuffles, three second-place prizes of $150 gift certificates for Stresa East, Bang Cafe and Major's Steakhouse and one first place prize of a $500 American Express Gift Card.
