Community Medical Transport Signs Letter of Intent to Acquire New York Ambulance Company.


YONKERS, New York--(BUSINESS WIRE)--December 28, 1995--Community Medical Transport, Inc. (Nasdaq National Market:CMTI CMTI Clean Manufacturing Technology Institute

), a provider of medical transportation services in the New York metropolitan area New York–Northern New Jersey–Long Island is the most populous metropolitan area in the United States and the third most populous in the world, after Tokyo and Mexico City. , today announced that it has entered into a letter of intent to acquire the assets of a profitable, privately-held New York New York, state, United States
New York, Middle Atlantic state of the United States. It is bordered by Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and the Atlantic Ocean (E), New Jersey and Pennsylvania (S), Lakes Erie and Ontario and the Canadian province of
 state provider of emergency and non-emergency ambulance services with revenues believed by Community Medical to be in excess of $7 million.

The closing of the transaction is subject to, among other things, the completion of due diligence Research; analysis; your homework. See wired.  by Community Medical, various regulatory approvals and the signing of a definitive purchase agreement by February 28, 1996. The acquisition is expected to be made for cash. Specific terms of the proposed acquisition were not disclosed.
