Community Leaders and Corporations Join Together to Bring Awareness to the Importance of Mentorship and Positive Latina Role Models.


What:     Girls Today Women Tomorrow (GTWT) Sixth Annual Fashion Show.
          Luncheon celebrating positive Latina role models. The
          fashion show will feature young Latinas from urban
          communities who are making a difference through the GTWT
          Mentorship & Leadership Program.

Who:      Over 400 guests are expected to attend.

              Chair

When:     Thursday, July 28, 2005
          11 a.m. - 12 p.m.      Registration
          11 a.m. -  1 p.m.      Silent Auction
          12 p.m. -  2 p.m.      Fashion Show/Luncheon

Where:    The Center at Cathedral Plaza, 555 West Temple Street in
          downtown Los Angeles. (Self-Parking $5 at Cathedral Plaza)

Why:      Founded in 1996, Girls Today Women Tomorrow Leadership
          Mentoring Program (GTWT) provides an environment where girls
          ages 12-21 are mentored to create their own opportunities
          for life success while contributing to their community as
          young leaders.

          The GTWT Fashion Show creates an opportunity for
          participants to work side by side with professional women to
          plan the fundraiser.  The girls develop stronger leadership,
          communication, marketing, promotion and event planning
          skills.  Event proceeds will be used to support ongoing
          program activities and sponsor several college scholarships
          for GTWT participants.
