) today announced the acquisition of Southern Chester County Chester County is the name of several counties in the United States:
  • Chester County, Pennsylvania
  • Chester County, South Carolina
  • Chester County, Tennessee
Additionally, the original name of Cheshire (in the northwest of England) was the "County of Chester."
 Medical Center, a 59-bed acute care facility located in West Grove, Pennsylvania West Grove is a borough in Chester County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 2,652 at the 2000 census. History
The village of West Grove derived it's name from the Friends Meeting House on Harmony Road which was built in 1787 on the western edge of London
. The hospital, the sole provider of acute care hospital services in its community, was acquired from a community not-for-profit organization and has been renamed "Jennersville Regional Hospital." The facility is located approximately 45 minutes south of Coatesville, Pennsylvania Coatesville, known as the Pittsburgh of the East, is the only designated city in Chester County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 10,838 at the 2000 census. , the location of Brandywine Hospital, which was acquired by Community Health Systems in June 2001.
