Community Celebrating Diversity Honors Scottsdale Insurance VP Doreen Reinke as Diversity Champion.


SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- Community Celebrating Diversity, an organization committed to enhancing the perception and understanding of diversity, honored Scottsdale Insurance Vice President Doreen Reinke and Scottsdale Unified School District Scottsdale Unified School District (SUSD) is a school district that covers most of the city of Scottsdale, Arizona. It was founded in 1896 and serves 27,000 students. The district claims to be "Arizona's Most Excelling School District" as 21 of its 33 schools have a rating of  ombudsman ombudsman (äm`bədzmən) [Swed.,=agent or representative], public official appointed to deal with individual complaints against government acts.  and director of exceptional customer experiences Clif McKenzie as "Diversity Champions" at their 12th annual Scottsdale Community Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Dinner Celebration.

The award recognizes individuals who have made outstanding contributions by living, working or volunteering in the Scottsdale community, in the spirit of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and have advanced civil and human rights and advocated for justice and understanding.

Reinke sees her mission at Scottsdale Insurance Co., where she serves as vice president of operations, as inspiring and developing the potential of diverse and promising talent. She has lead and promoted a culture of diversity and inclusion within Scottsdale Insurance and the community, helping to break down barriers and creating opportunities for others to recognize their greatness through work and service.

Holding a Bachelor's in Business Management from the University of Phoenix, Doreen is very active in the community. She is a six-year board member for Scottsdale/Paradise Valley YMCA YMCA

Most recently, she received the Constance O. Garretson (COG) Memorial Award by Minority Interchange Inc.
