Community Bankshares Inc. (SC) Announces First Quarter 2007 Cash Dividend.

), announced that its Board of Directors has declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.12 per share, payable March 30, 2007, to shareholders of record March 15, 2007. This is a 9% increase over the dividend for the fourth quarter 2006.

Chief Executive Officer Samuel L. Erwin stated, "Community Bankshares has consistently paid dividends since the early 1990s and firmly believes that payment of dividends is a vital part of its capital planning process. We adhere to adhere to
