Wilson traveled throughout the country on her Public Advocacy for Voter Protection tour (see p. 11), she gained press coverage on a number of issues including voter ID, congressional ethics, voter education, and polling place innovations. The communications staff was also integral to preparing Wilson for a trip to Ohio, where she met with Members of Congress, voters, and the media to promote D.C.
