Communication systems make the world go around.

Communication, the process of exchanging information, has had to cope with an-ever increasing spectrum of functions since the dawn of human history. Since then communication has taken several different forms and continues to be one, if not the most important element in the development of the humankind.

As soon as individuals abandoned their nomadic See nomadic computing.  lifestyle and began to settle, surrounding themselves with walls for protection, seeking possible food resources, the distinction between informed and out of touch became one of the key obstacles to overcome and the necessity for person-to-person communication evolved.

Communication is the prime reason for the technological evolution of the world today, which continues to emerge in many different forms.  for the blind to telephone systems for homes and businesses, wireless pagers and PDA's for ones on the move as well as the ever popular "cellular phone" for the everyday person. Communication is accomplished differently in all makes and models of life almost on a constant basis for one common cause...being informed or informing. The most important ingredient in establishing any type of communication is having an efficient infrastructure for connectivity. There are very large companies like AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, MCI (1) (Media Control Interface) A high-level programming interface from Microsoft and IBM for controlling multimedia devices. It provides commands and functions to open, play and close the device.

These compani es, whose primary business is to provide communication linking via their components, services and networks ultimately, rely on correct wiring, fiber optics fiber optics, transmission of digitized messages or information by light pulses along hair-thin glass fibers. Each fiber is surrounded by a cladding having a high index of refractance so that the light is internally reflected and travels the length of the fiber  and available frequency bandwidths.

Companies who advertise that their systems are far superior over others are self-assured because they have strategically invested into the nucleus of their success. If this critical step goes unnoticed then that company will be easily exposed when the ultimate test is presented...the use of the end user. Another major cause of poor communication signal transmission whether it is analog or digital is an incompetent power source. Power is the key for any operating electronic or electrical device making everything else secondary. Having the right power with good stabilization, excellent filtration and good regulation for any communication system or network is a must in this competitive communication industry.

Our environment is currently experiencing the power and positive impact of the "Internet." Today the Internet has become the primary choice for communication and security providers with IP based telephone systems, security systems, access control systems and the leading "email" for everyday end users. Imagine the last time you sat down and wrote a letter with a pen and piece of paper. Email has become the standard form of communication overpowering o·ver·pow·er·ing

even some of the larger telephone companies. Many products are being designed and engineered to working with the Internet because of the availability and speed of the information super highway. Integration is almost certain when trying to tie any communication device into the internet.

Ethernet is the most common form of connectivity allowing people, households, businesses and corporations to form a local area network (LAN (Local Area Network) A communications network that serves users within a confined geographical area. The "clients" are the user's workstations typically running Windows, although Mac and Linux clients are also used. ) or wide area network (WAN) to communicate, share information and provide resources to one another.

With all of the state-of-the-art technology, all of the qualified professors, all of the clever scientists, all of the finest engineers available in this world today we must always remember that someone somewhere is thinking about the next way to make advances in the "communication" industry allowing everyone to remain unknowingly in touch with the world. The communication field is probably the field, which has been taken for granted Adj. 1. taken for granted - evident without proof or argument; "an axiomatic truth"; "we hold these truths to be self-evident"

because it is so much a part of our everyday lives and it sometimes goes unnoticed. Imagine not having any telephones, no TV for news, no radios for broadcasts and no internet for everything. The world would shut down as we know it and there would be world chaos.

Have you ever heard the saying... "Do you know that money makes the world go round and round?" Well without communication there is no world!
