On May 11, 2001, at the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce 2001 Small Business Awards Luncheon, CommuniTech.Net won the "Mr K" Award.

The prestigious "Mr K" award is given in memory of Ewing Marion Kauffman, one of Kansas City's most successful and influential entrepreneurs.
