SUNNYVALE, Calif. -- Commtouch[R] (NASDAQ:CTCH) today announced a licensing agreement with Check Point Software Technologies Ltd. (NASDAQ:CHKP), the worldwide leader in securing the Internet.

Commtouch's multi-layer email defense approach includes:

* Reputation service for blocking unwanted mail traffic at the perimeter, significantly reducing the necessary IT resources for handling email,

* Zero-Hour[TM] Virus Outbreak Protection to complement traditional anti-virus solutions, and

* Anti-spam, which works with all formats and languages including Asian languages, image spam and attachment spam.
