WELL done Esther Rantzen Esther Louise Rantzen CBE (born on 22 May 1940 (1940--) (age 67)) is an English journalist and television presenter who is best known for her long stint in That's Life!  for deciding to stand for parliament at the next General Election. This is the way forward for British politics and it would be superb if more big names followed her example.

How about Joanna Lumley, Selina Scott, Elaine C. Smith Elaine C. Smith (born August 2, 1958) is a Scottish actress and comedian. She was born in Baillieston in Glasgow, and she continues to live in the city.

Elaine attended Braidhurst High School in Motherwell.
 and, for Prime Minister, Joan Burnie? What more do you need in an MP than common sense? So let's throw out the rotten apples and get some fresh faces in the Commons.
