CALGARY, Alberta--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 12, 1996--On September 5,
1996, the Common Shares of Veritas Energy Services Inc. ceased trading
on The Toronto Stock Exchange concurrently with the commencement of
trading of Veritas' New Exchangeable Shares. In order to avoid
confusion with the old Common Shares, commencing September 13, 1996, the
Exchangeable Shares will trade under the symbol "VER".
